My Advanced Physio provides high-quality care on a private billing basis, so an out-of-pocket cost applies to their consultations.
Consultation Fees

Private Health Insurance
You may be able to claim eligible physiotherapy benefits through your private health insurer, depending on your level of extras cover. To make this simple, a digital invoice is automatically emailed to you during your consultation, ready to submit to your fund.
Medicare (GP Chronic Disease Management)
Physiotherapy may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under a GP Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Ask your GP whether you're eligible, and confirm current rebate details with the clinic before your appointment. Current Medicare rebates cover less than half of the consultation fee, so a gap payment will apply.
WorkSafe and TAC
My Advanced Physio provides treatment for eligible WorkSafe Victoria and TAC (Transport Accident Commission) claims. Please send your claim details and any supporting documentation to matt@myadvancedphysio.com.au so your treatment can proceed without delay.
Payment Methods
My Advanced Physio uses Halaxy, a secure third-party payment system, to store your card details safely. Payment is processed automatically at the time of your consultation, so there's nothing further for you to arrange on the day.
Cancellation Policy
Patients are responsible for attending their scheduled appointment, or providing reasonable notice if they need to cancel or reschedule. Sufficient notice allows that appointment time to be offered to another patient. Appointments that are not attended, or are cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, will be charged the full consultation fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No — physiotherapists are primary contact practitioners, so you can book directly without a GP referral. A referral is required only if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate under a GP Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring any relevant scans, reports or referral letters, a list of current medications, and comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being assessed.
Will I need anything for a WorkSafe or TAC claim?
Yes — WorkSafe Victoria and TAC claims generally require claim approval and supporting documentation before treatment can proceed. Contact the clinic to confirm what's needed for your claim.
